This is an excellent analysis. I will not attempt to dissect it in a comment; I'll just take it in for now. But as a one-time Deutsche Bank analyst and current trader, I can say this is MUCH better than what I usually read on the mostly derivative economic blogs. This is the appeal of the OWS movement despite the fact that the members making up the movement are advocating entirely unappealing solutions in the form of wealth distribution, punishing success and other hard left ideologies.

Inaccurate generalization. it's very difficult to continue reading an article when early on i ruin into a blatant falsehood stated as fact. i prefer not to be spun by someone but rather to have the lay out the facts and present their OPINION related to those facts.

And who exactly is expanding the money supply? The Central Banks. In the USA that would be the Federal Reserve Bank. And who owns the privately held corporation known as the Federal Reserve Bank?

This is what I am doing (right now): transfer all my assets into family members name and default + settle all my debt for pennys on the dollar. Screw the banks. Remove all debt ASAP. Stop all debt payments. Hoard the cash.
